I would doubt Westfarmers have an appetite fro GXL. They would have their hands full with the UK expansion of Bunnings plus they already have multiple big box retail points of presence. Why would they pay for Greencross when they could simply dedicate floor space to its own pet offering ?
GXL with the vet offering probably has more resilience to Amazon than say JB Hifi. Amazon cannot do the vet offering. In store sales from vet clients would significantly support sales.
