I don't do much posting on here, but I have also found this announcement quite interesting.
From the announcement I gather that Dykes has transferred his holdings to Bainpro, as nominee for Deutche which is on behalf of MF Global (CFD Broker).
I have seen in other posts that the directors have bought up at higher prices - Does this include dykes?
If this is the case, a possible reason he might converting his holding to CFD's may be to gain higher leverage at the lower - current price. My impression of CFD's is that you only need to put a margin up of around 20% to gain full exposure.
Like I said, this is only in my opinion a possibility. I'm keen to see how others interpret this.
