As for me  I did not apply to take any shortfall as company already mentioned (to us) not to apply to fill shortfalls.
2nd reason is that, in recent shortfall announcement, it said those are to be allocated to nominated parties.
In my interpretation, nominated parties are usually likely to be sophisticated and/or Instos and/or
concerned inner circle parties but not retail holders.

But, who knows!
Sometimes unprecedented fortunes hit unexpectedly like lightning hits someone's head unexpectedly apart anyone's' will.
