agree to some extent, however the MD buying 25000 shares for less than a couple of grand doesn't instill much confidence at all. You'd expect if it was an All Clear as it is meant to be the guy would have been piling in in spades. The notice indicates the MD's total shareholding as less than 500k shares so it's not a lot of skin in the game and looks like a job more than anything. Of course he may also have no cash as he's only on a 6 figure salary, tuff times.
WRT to the option price this is set at the time of issue at 50% above the market price of the share price on the day for tax reasons, so whoever gets them doesn't really have a choice in the matter. That's why boards reissue the 'performance' options on an annual basis just for events like this. So most of the options are probably performance options and not bought on market.
I maintain my sell sentiment after I sold out. May buy back around 5c as previously stated although that is looking like it may be too high.
