It's my personal perspective. If he puts a few hundred thousands on the purchase, then it would convince investors that he was committed.

I am sure the fund managers share my concern about the myth of hard capsules that can some how stabilise volatile chemicals. I have never heard of anything that can make volatile chemicals stable! It's the stuff of fiction. You can only reduce volatility of any chemical by storing at lower temperature (like food storage) and minimise exposure to light and other materials. As they have found that cannabis oils degenerated at 4 degrees C and we know that gel capsules can block light and stop exposure to air but still cannot preserve cannabis oils for very long, I just don't see the science of it in AusCann's claim. AusCann has not provided any shred of ideas into how their "proprietary" hard capsule works or how cannabis oils could become stable when mixed with some carrier agent or solvent. The devil is the details in this claim.

I reckon the selling of this stock by the funds is based on the perception that AusCann has nothing new to add to the picture. All other companies have the same thing and they are making do of gel capsule to deliver the oils while waiting for new scientific developments from university researchers. And if the other companies who are well advanced in the trade cannot make good money out of this, new companies simply cannot until proven otherwise.

AusCann probably drags it feet on this hoping their Jacks & Jills in their lab will eventually come up with something new and marvellous/magical discoveries. If they manage to get the capsules done in 2019 then clinical trials will tell the rest of the story. The fund managers are waiting for the evidence.
