Bottom line is that, if they're lying, they'll go to jail. Pretty high stakes game to be playing. Looking at the credentials of management, it's unlikely they will want to play.
Problem with pot stocks is that everyone is so damn suspicious and easily caught up in rumours. Many are also obviously salty after buying in at $1+ not long ago.
