re: Ann: Change of Director's Interest No...
I can't believe I placed faith in directors who, fat salaries in pocket, moved the Crater project forward at the pace of a snail.
It was so frustating to read that alluvial mining has only recently been stopped. From 2008 to now, 15,000 ounces were estimated to be extracted from near surface. I'm fairly certain that 0% of the profit went to GOA. We were thrilled to be owning 90% of the crater mountain project...and then 100%....was the alluvial secction the last 10%?
The alluvial stuff is close to surface, so conservatively say $500/oz to extract, $1500/oz sell = $15m profit. Even at $1000/oz to extract thats $7.5m PROFIT! Surely that would have seen off Bergen, seen off Chan? What a different position we should have be in by now.
I say we, even though I sold out a few months ago, after holding (and topping up) for several years.
