interesting reading today regarding 5GN announcement today about their new 10gbs national network.
Interesting points are.
SLC has already built a 100gbs between and in metro areas and 10gbs to regional area in Australia.
SLC will have soon have 18tbs between syd and perth and 9tbs between perth to singapore. they can swap for capacity om other cable systems. (Syd to guam) and
( Japan to USA) further reducing 3rd party acess costs
and
SLC has 100gbs capacity on the southern cross cable.
and
Owns and large duct and fibre network in singapore and a large fibre network in hong kong
but looking at 5GN it trades on 4 times book value while slc trades 20 percent discout to book.
