Very valid Westerner, if I can provide my anecdotal exp with WBT.
I had entered at 1.7c and sold @ 2.4c 2 days before the announcement which shot up the SP to high 5s..
You really don't want to get caught with your pants down when there is an anticipation for announcement which you seem confident will arrive inevitably. Since that mistake I buy and hold, timing the market just isn't my forte.
Unless you're eyeing some other opportunities and need to reallocate funds, I'd say you're banking on something that you don't think will happen.
