Shelf space in supermarkets is largely determined by how much "push money" suppliers pay the supermarket for shelf space. On a low margin items such as tissue paper, paper towels, and toilet paper, it is doubtful if paying for alot of shelf space is worthwhile. Likewise it is doubtful how much "branding" of those items helps sales. AHY was surprisingly honest (in this day and age) to write down those intangibles such as "good will" and "brand value".
AHY sources their pulp from Australian farm forests. The low A$ helps their position relative to imports.
