Yes. Pacific International was an associate of Shagang. What the notice is saying is that they are no longer an associate.
Would be nice to know what happened.
Also, interesting to note that PI have right to dispose there 90m shares.
They also sold 4m shares. Should have issued change in substantial shareholder notices every time they sold 1m shares. Also, should disclose the dates of the sales and any purchases. Someone has taken the eye off the ball. Surprising really.
I wonder what this right to dispose consists of and who is on the other side of the transaction.
What all this shows is how ineffective ASIC is and the fact that you can drive a semi trailer through the intention of the takeover law.
It really is a joke. Keeping the market informed. What the heck ???????
