IMO its easy for a big short on CLH - sure they have promised lots and shows signs of a strong turn around - but nothing amazing has come through to financials yet... In fact revenue is flat and profit is down still from the highs of 2015 (did have a MC of $300M then though...). Then on a liquidity front, CLH have low liquidity - so when the likes of credit suisse increase their qty of borrowed stock - they win...
I have respect for the way in which Rivas has run the company, and am confident that CLH will hit their guidance. Keep in mind updated guidance was at start of MAY! So 8wks on from that things just cannot have changed that much... Then 4wks ago PDL's increased and no further guidance - so I think it'll be hit.
Onto FY19 - the 28% increase in PDL purchases announced through the year will positively impact FY19 which is not yet announced from a guidance front (will be soon)... So i'm a little jittery but i'm a buyer right now
