    Remember that VanEck are purely momentum buyers and based on flows into the GDXJ fund. They do no analysis whatsoever of the companies they hold in the GDXJ. Pretty much the definition of dumb money.

    In 2016 and 2017 when SLR rallied hard Van Eck were heavily buying the tops on both occasions.
