The lack of interest is due to what, exactly? Aside from heaping sole blame on Tony R, what about other possibilities:
a) most Australian analysts don't understand Mexico (insular, making lazy assumptions)
b) instos have a very small proportion of their portfolio for mining speccies (undeniable reality)
c) familiarity breeds contempt, and superficial familiarity the most dangerous of all (see above)
d) in particular, inability to understand cost structures, and appreciate mineralisation and metallurgy results as they apply to the particulars. Oposura for instance.
Many posts were made about d) re Oposura, and I gave examples and analysis using a similar mine with different mineralisation (and therefore more expensive to mine compared with Oposura's easily accessible, concentrated mineralisation) and yet still it was popularly concluded in here that it's going to be a modest mine!
NO. It is not!
Surely IT'S GOING TO BE BIG in terms of returns?
What can you do with this nonsense situation?
At least the Germans are onto it. THEY know how to crunch numbers!
I will repost links to the previous conversations on Oposura numbers when I get the time and inclination.
All I can do is urge people to leave preconceptions at the door and focus on the precise realities. As clearly the Germans have done
