It's a risk however in my experience it rarely becomes an issue as slight changes alter the process for a competitor (HEG are also testing much the same process) and throwing HCL on dirt is not new, there needs to be a complete uniqueness about the entire process or key aspects. Also the bulk of aluminium work was done in the 60s, ATC eluded to this in presentations.
