The sheaths are a key component. Sterility of reuseable endoscopes has become hugely important given the potential for transmission of viruses in particular. OIL had to construct a sheath which didn't hinder the use but met the strict FDA requirements, and it was difficult and took a lot of time. Maybe they scored some patents in the process. I hope so. So sheaths will need to be in constant supply and should generate good income.

Anyway for neuro surgery I'll bet it will be part of an integrated robotic package perhaps costing hundreds of thousands each.
