This is the most impressive turnaround I have ever seen. In 2011-12 I valued EGG at $0.

I remember a 5c div not so long ago. It's a bit like getting an inheritance 5 years after the funeral. A very unexpected pleasure.

I have held better that went belly up or did a scheme of company arrangement for a management buyout that left me with nothing and made management and their cronies rich in the process.

EGG is an artwork to me. Every time I look at it expand geographically with a vision for the future, it makes me feel good. It's not good to be emotional about a stock but I actually have faith in the management team to get me back in the black, that's why I don't trade it or take some off the table.

Not smart I know, but this is my little Aussie battler. You'll need to forgive my indulgence here. I am a true believer. Totally irrational, I confess.

If you are looking for a peer comparison have a look at WPP (the old STW) and compare the sp from 2012. You are up about 80%. Well done!

Also I agree this year's result was disappointing (no one likes to see profit decline) but it was still the second best in 8 years.
