Forget about the underlying fundamentals that is not how SBM is currently being traded at the moment. Van Eck still own a huge amount of SBM shares and have previously indicated that they would dump their shares on the market at any time with no prior warning between now and the 16th of June. The selloff is already destroying liquidity, I am looking for an exit at $2.90-2.95 @ AU $1700. I think it is highly probable that Van Eck will continue to reduce their holdings. I will not consider buying back in or buying any other gold miners that Van Eck hold more than an 8% stake in.
