$4.50> > 16 cents
Says it all
Held this company for several years - early 2000's till 2012/13 buying in at 28 cents and averaging up whenever I had a few spare dollars.
Then it had multi billion dollar projects in it's backyard and basically was there at the right time and place
All the major projects that Mermaid were exposed to, pre and post GFC have finished
The strength in the company was the strategic value of it's marine bases here in Australia
Like I have indicated in past posts - major blunders were not securing Darwin Supply Base when it went to tender and expanding overseas
All good in hindsight
This company will be delisted very soon
I was really surprised Chairman has stayed with company. Just show's his integrity.
The fact that the CEO was not booted out some time ago goes beyond belief
Mermaid is now a basket case. No bases, brand new boats sitting idle, no business
