Perhaps you'd like to hazard a guess as to what Linfox is trying to achieve.
They hold 15%; A A Scott hold 64.7% and they control the Board (2 of 4 directors).
A seat on the Board? As far as I know, they haven't bothered to ask. ("Refusal may offend")
Takeover? I don't think so.
Merger or joint venture? Perhaps, but Fox would have to pay top dollar and for businesses that don't seem to fit well with their own, although Fox might have the ability and muscle to run them better.

In any case, I see no cause for concern. It slightly relieves the boredom.
