TLDR;

Let's see if I've got the essence correctly:

- IDA has something really valuable in the ground – not sure if this would be Nickel we know about, Gold which could be much bigger story, or e.g. Cobalt that was just casually thrown in;

- BPM/Boyton knows what’s in the ground, having done the drilling for a long time for IXR/IDA, and other punters in the region;

- Boyton accumulated as much shares as he could buying on the market, and doing the deals with some long-term shareholders (lots of activity looked like agreed block trades);

- There were no more cheap shares to buy, so BPM/Boyton then tried to flog the worthless tenement in return for increased equity share in IDA;

- That didn't worked out, so they bought a bit more shares, and are now trying to get on board;

The story could be different - I reckon that the current management doesn't really strike the confidence, they were quiet for too long, things are moving really slowly and they made a few quite bad moves in the past. But the other side seems to _really_ want to get the IDA by all means - which is fine with me, but at reasonable price (which should be much much higher, than this current funny little share price).

I reckon the best outcome would be that this wakes up China Gold or whoever else could be interested, so them jump in with the proper takeover offer before the SHTF. That can quickly make IDA a multi-bagger, and we can take the money and move on to a next show.
