Another large purchase ($94M) by UNI-super to increase it's holding in APA from 13.09% to 14.18%. Clearly, Uni-super is not concerned about the perceived end to the 30 years Bond Bull market and the anticipated re-rating of this stock. Uni-super now holds around 158M shares, valued today at over $1.2B. IMO, the bond market link has been overstated, with the current levels of world debt, we won't be seeing high interest rates any time soon. I guess also, that Uni-super is not concerned about the findings of the Vertigan inquiry, which is due to hand down it's recommendations in mid December.
