I also think it Singapore Airlines comment, "AT THIS POINT we have no interest in increasing our holding in Virgin Australia", is very telling about their longer term ambitions for Virgin.
My only surprise in all this is that they were able to get stock out of Branson. Will be interesting to see if Ethiad can do the same or whether they will be forced to buy on market.
