@madamswer I was mostly reminding people, that despite the view that 'the big boys' have some huge advantages in the game, people shouldn't overlook certain disadvantages institutional management presents. Learning to manage your own capital, if you're so inclined is probably the smartest investment most people could make.
As to the management fees, that problem is easy to solve, simply find a fund manager that doesn't charge one, who perhaps only generates a fee if they deliver performance above a benchmark... - Eternalgrowth
