He's only sold about 20% of his total holding, some of which were owned by him & his wife and others in a company name. It would have totalled about $150,000, which isn't exactly taking the money and running. The remaining totals are all nice, round numbers so it looks like he just tidied them up and withdrew some cash.
That's just my assumption from the non-price sensitive announcement. I could be wrong but I'm not worried about it. The board all have high public profiles and with Canopy's chairman/CEO on board, I don't think anyone is in it for a quick buck.
