From section 602 to section 678 you will find everything you need to know. It is a bit cumbersome to read it this way but you have the time now.
Some sections (eg accessing the register) are outside this area, as they apply generally)but you will get the idea.

Some important sections are 602, 621-623, 630, 632, 650B, 656A and following (the Takeovers Panel), 661A and following, 667A (expert report), 672A (tracing notices by ASIC if holder so requests).

You can make your own application to the Takeovers Panel. It is not so hard. It has its own website and Rules.

You should assume WNI is reading HC, so try to find a way to get together without any of them listening. Maybe through a lawyer or accountant?
