BG has already withdraw from Napp Trough.
It is hurting in its Qld LNG project.
it has sold off its QLD gas pipeline
it has declared it is selling off other assets around the world.
Shell has also declared it is selling off assets
it has declared not building LNG plant in Qld
so, even if Shell eventually complete the t/o of BG, it will sell the DLS holding, for all the above reasons, plus it is immaterial/peripheral/non-core to them, it is in an area (C/B) which is not there centre of attention, and the whole project I think would simply be too small for this mammoth Shell/BG group.

still think Seven will be the actual protagonist for these C/B mergers/takeovers.

we just have to figure out where to put our money !!!!
