It is my opinion based on a view presented in a newspaper article that was previously post on here. I can't remember the source but at the time I read the article it read as fact to me.
Why does the Cooper need Stokes to drive the change? Aren't the industry professional savvy enough to judge the opportunity? They would be in possession of the confidential knowledge of their own businesses and what is best. Maybe these business did get stale and were unprepared for the slump in the oil price and do need an entrepreneurial type to shake them up.
Just a perspective right or wrong.
