To try and speculate on what SNC's plan demands a careful evaluation of 1AG's assets.

Clearly SNC are not going into the ag business. Are they stealthily buying for an undisclosed third party? I don't think that's in their nature; better to use a trading house better suited for market buys.

I don't believe SNC has a strategic vision for 1AG to take the world by storm. Rather, I believe SNC has "unearthed" assets that are undervalued in their estimation thereby not reflected accurately in the sp. This mispricing. Whether short-term, ie. value now, or long-term, ie. a play on the ag theme (my reason for owning 1AG).

Either way, 1AG is a strong buy. Trick is, short-term or long? That question only pertains to traders. I'm in, I'm sticking (maybe buying more), and that's my strategy until things change.
