Tax loss selling 101 would be the absolute last consideration for a fundie such as PPT.
Taking swipes at a company is one thing, but to try and alert fellow punters to what one perceives as a real threat in the market is an entirely different situation.
Insofar as PPT selling all of their shares I have followed, and posted on their investment management trading decisions/style for 10+ years now. Unless they have had a change of tactics then they WILL liquidate their entire holding. Only a question of how fast and how soon.
Regardless, the simple fact the market knows/perceives there is a stock overhang of 20mio shares will weigh on the sp for the foreseeable future.
