Energy Action Limited (EAX) is an Australian based energy management consultancy company. It helps companies to get competitive prices for their energy needs and offers monitoring programs to achieve energy efficiency.

EAX has three main divisions: (1) Energy Procurement, (2) Contract Management & Energy Reporting (CMER) and (3) Projects and Advisory Services (PAS).

Energy Procurement: Energy Action manages the procurement for over 10% of the entire commercial and industrial large market sites in Australia and has a 10 year track record. It helps companies to obtain the best possible energy contracts for their needs.

CMER: Energy Action analyses companies’ energy consumption and related bills, detects issues and identifies cost savings with energy retailers to reduce day-to-day energy costs over the long term.

PAS: Energy Action offers a range of tailored services that can help any business assess, improve and manage its energy efficiency, through the use of innovative energy efficiency and energy management methodologies.

With an operating NPAT of $3.52m in FY16 (46.9% up on FY15), EAX is on a trailing PE of just 11, which seems cheap. Operating NPAT is before $3.85m deferred consideration for two acquisitions and $0.12m of restructuring costs.
