I think there is some benefit to placing to large, reputable substantial shareholder/s.
Much better than, say, placing to one or a number of sophisticated and/or institutional investors and then drip-feeding the shares over a long period of time where "good news" is announced. In the latter example, it is conceivable that a small number of shares could be placed which are then sold on market and "recycled" into accepting more placement shares. What a joke it would be on the every day man and woman.
Good to see KNL sticking to the high brow game with good sized transactions to competent and well known shareholders.
