Ann: Change in substantial holding from CBA, page-5

For anyone else interested in looking at trading patterns in hopes of being struck by some eureka revelation that will illuminate the mysteries around 3.5 million shares were ‘returned’ to Deutsche Bank (borrow decrease?) over four days - ie April 18, 19, 20 and 23 during which time the price ranged from $1.41 to $1.345. ie before massive volume saw it plunge to $1.16 on May 10
Over the course of that plunge and (comparative ) recovery CBA purchased on April 19 and 27 and May 1, 4, 9, 15, 16 and 17 .
Of note is the fact CBA both returned shares and purchased them on April 19.
So the call they were accumulating by @Chugwun was totally on the knocker .
But none of those buying days were the lowest priced ones so CBA alone is not the reason the price went down the way it did ....]For instance the large off market SX3T trades I noticed were on May 7 ($1.34) and May 10 ($1.225)
..maybe another substantial holder notice or change note is coming?

. Another curiosity about the trades is the purchases of around one million shares total on May 4
On Friday, May, Shortman has volume of 1,644,984 with 87% of shares being short sales (1,431,467)
CommSec agreed with that volume (price range; $1.28 to $1.305)
Presumably they also bought on Chi X Which accounts for the difference...or maybe the recorded dates are the dates the sales went through ....
Which messes up my figuring entirely ...
Anyway it’s good to see price looking stronger despite my commitment to the pb policy policy of ‘no news no perturbation’
