Three reasons:
1. Kairos holds a sizeable package of tenements that many companies, including Novo, have expressed interested in. I believe Novo even offered a JV, but Kairos declined.
2. The window of opportunity for takeovers is closing, if companies want to buy KAI for pennies on the dollar, they will have to make their move soon.
3. There's been some rumors online about a possible takeover of Kairos.

I don't see anyone offering 0.135 either, which is why we should all tell potential suitors to get lost. Kairos is an easy five-bagger when Novo's NRs starts flowing, and may be a tenbagger in half a year. To sell now is madness.
