This is "Welcome Stranger" country where a lot of "old timers" made their fortunes with very little digging. Kirkland Lake took over a tired old mine nearby from unimaginative owners and went a little deeper and now Fosterville is one of the most profitable mines in Australia, if not the world. Of course I am a market cynic and if we had an announcement " drilling has been suspended due to clogging of the drill bit with free gold " I'm sure the stock would be sold down!
