I went to the meeting to use my own measure of their cost cutting program and was impressed; not a chocolate biscuit anywhere to be found. The same grumpy old men wasted an hour going over old ground, but you can't change what's already happened. Better to look to the future I think.
I was impressed with the quality of the new shareholders who attended. Seems that nice boy Mark has brought along some of his friends from the big end of town. Quality people who wouldn't be there if they didn't see a future. For the first time in several years I left with a smile on my face and, if it's possible anymore, a spring in my step.
