You are entitled to your opinion, but I don't agree with it. I think the Chairman's explanatory section on the salary and performance rights was probably necessary to provide some perspective and balance. Perspective and balance are needed because "weary" shareholders are as likely to lack these qualities in their judgement, as possess them ... not for one moment was I suggesting this could apply to you, of course. (though the "bonus options they should build in for long suffering shareholders" bit, did bring a tear to my eye)
I am very satisfied management are working to achieve the stated objectives and I anticipate we will see the results thereof. I am of this view as a result of my own investigations. In the meantime we need to wait and management should be incentivised appropriately, befitting their experience and importance of their challenges.
