good that I made your laugh, because codan has had its peaks and toughs! and a lot people are crying.
if you had bought at the placement, not good. However shares purchased in 2009 are not underwater yet. Probably you did well including the dividend.
in general good companies with good management with growth, and with high entry costs the share price generally will appreciate over a period time.
its you to decide that codan ticks your boxes.
