I assume you're referring to the plant at Cape Preston and not the one near Gero ? Not only have I heard of both but worked there for a while during early construction phase. How about you, have you heard about them online and can you find it on the map without Google's help ?
Despite all the garbage you read in the media I'm sorry to inform you that are wrong, again. The issues at Sino had nothing to do with the quality of modules, in fact they were vastly superior to the cheaper low quality Thai build modules used by FMG to build their plants a few years later or the ones used at Roy Hill project.
When Sino first started work on the project they were at the forefront of using o/s manufactured modules to construct processing plants in this country so there was a lot of passive-aggressive behavior amongst the local workers, me included. Then CPM began flying in 457 workers from China to speed up construction and supervise putting together the plant which only made things worse at Cape Preston. The final straw that saw Cfmeu spitting the dummy was seeing that even the concrete footpaths were being shipped here in precast form. Everything was suddenly not to Aus standard and had to be modified, cut and rebuilt on site. Asbestos above safe levels was suddenly found on site, most likely from the crush rock carted from Hamersley Range. Yeah, who would have thunk that rocks dug up near Wittenoom hills could contain any asbestos. Even now respirators have to be worn in certain areas of the CPM plant when going outdoors.

These days workers are resigned to the fact that building a plant takes months rather then years and also a bit more broadminded when it comes to putting together plants built o/s as this is now standard throughout Pilbara.
The other issues at Cape Preston are that Palmer sold them a low grade magnetite pup and that after selling them his cake he's been trying to eat it too.

As with most of your other posts here over the past few years your reference to Sino had no real relevance to NTU modules and was just another weak attempt at downramping and spreading fake news because you can't handle the fact you got it wrong with both NTU and Lynas.
