Nevertheless, they are not "wind turbines", as wind turbines are very specific and as Boroboyinoz's quote shows, these are similar to Kaplan hydro turbines.
The solar updraft tower technology was valued at $60 million some time back to much fanfare. Let's see if the management team can sell the company for that much, now that "nothing is off the table".
The total liabilities of the company are $3.9 million (see page 14 of the annual report), so if the company was sold for $60 million, then the return to shareholders would be about $56 million, which being about the same as the current market cap would be 10c per share.
Does that sound right? I don't have an accounting background so I don't know if I've read the annual report correctly.
