A respondent on a UK BB has met with Andrew Teo whilst on holiday in Perth and includes the following in his feedback:

"Andrew Teo does not claim to be a mining engineer but the work on the L8 shaft is to open up the size of the shaft to accommodate bigger ore lifts. This can't be done whilst the mine is operating so it was decided to add 2 weeks on to the Christmas shut down for this to be done. In the long term this will be beneficial."
