Point 2, I think you might be wrong. I think the PhD in chemistry has given him the opportunity/knowledge to appreciate the nuances and to have heard about the F^&* ups. I got the distinct impression that what goes on after the salts are harvested, in terms of plant construction, tanks, heating, cooling etc, etc is not clear cut. And we have Compass, Luobupo and a couple of others all doing things differently and that is the sum total of worldwide evaporative SOP experience. The North American engineering company are ONLY advising on the processing plant. Local consultants are doing all the hydrology.
