why dont they just call a spade a spade.

Guyana – Morabisi Lithium Project - too hard. Fail. Jungle rot. Time and money spent would have been better timely on a WA asset.
OHD - incompetence. Fail. Potential, as always.
Not proud of achievements - disappointed. Fail.

"There is a global decline in demand for thermal coal due to the rapid development of alternative renewable energy sources – this is causing substantial hardship to owners of coal assets and in particular their local communities. An alternative use for coal would potentially significantly benefit these stakeholders."

What a delusional statement. By the time OHD has any proven commercial reality, any thermal coal communities will either be ghost towns, or re-invented themselves otherwise. It is the time factor. A dying man in the desert, who just needs that drink of water. Dont worry, we'll get to you. But when we are ready, in say 10 years, oh dear. And what about the actual quantity of coal they would ever be using in OHD compared to thermal.

They need to scrap Guyana. Its a money and time waster. Its just BS. And its the lost city of gold. And its in that jungle if they can convince the few dreamers left hoping to it. It rose to prominence on the tide that lifted the whole sector, and now that is washed out.

They need to plain and simply, acknowledge all the failures, not sing praises, or they wont earn the right of a re-invention in any credibility of new ventures.
