I think the resignation of Peter Jooste is a bit of a shame really.

As the non-exec chairman he has presided over EMS through some pretty harsh periods and I think (but don't know) that he might have held this directorship for purely philanthropic reasons. He certainly wasn't getting paid a fortune to do it. I suspect that he may have seen the impacts of malaria whilst he lived in Africa and saw EMS as a means to help.

If this is the case then he is one of the truly honorable directors on the ASX, so good onya Peter - and thankyou very much for your efforts.
