The project more importantly immediately adjoins the Northern boundary of the Garden Gully project of Thundelarra Ltd who are developing what they believe is a new Gold mine in Meekatharra, and reporting excellent gold results.
Cervantes has commenced soil sampling along their permits Southern boundary, and will in due course report the results, but in the meantime are in discussions on a possible Joint Venture which is only in its early stages.
Cervantes Corporation Ltd (ASX: CVS) an ASX listed exploration company has had extremely pleasing initial results from its Albury Heath – Meekatharra project, which is only one of 3 excellent 100% owned gold projects they control. It has previously announced a Historical 27,000 oz resource at Albury Heath and this program is to apply modern drilling techniques to further assess the permit and its surrounding permits acquired by Cervantes with the possibility to enhance resource potential. (refer to ASX release 28th June 2018). Further results from the current drilling program are expected to be released soon. The project is located near two mills, one of which is undergoing refurbishment, which provides not only a potential early cash flow as they are within easy trucking distance, but potential to substantially increase the possible resource by exploring the surrounding permits, which have a similar geophysical signature to the Albury Heath mine.
The Primrose Project in the Murchison District covering 25 PL’s, EL’s and ML’s containing some 37 old mines of an Historic WA Goldfield which produced from 1oz to 5oz per tonne per mine, has recently reported results of a previous RAB drilling program. The drilling was to further assess previous drilling and accumulated data.
The RAB results announced on 12th June 2018 identified significant Gold, Nickel and Cobalt resulting in a report of a " similarity geological setting to the Emily Ann/Maggie Hay Nickel projects". A further Aircore drilling program announced on the 21st May 2018 has been completed to better define and expand the Gold mineralisation, and has since been amended to incorporate the Nickel-Cobalt results. Results for this program are expected to be released soon. A report from a respected Government Geologist E de C Clark in 1920 stated that the Goldfield, "Compares the geology as similar to Westonia (Edna May) elsewhere in the State".
The Abbotts project is a Gold exploration EL in Meekatharra strategically located between exploration programs of Doray Minerals Ltd, and Westgold Resources Ltd both of whom have mills in the immediate area.
