Be careful guys and girls! You are looking at CAT's SP from the perspective that it got to $4! Those days are gone. It will only get back to those levels when it is profitable and a PE of 10 is less than a couple of years away! I have been there and it hurts! Some of my direct experience:
CDX - got out in time
IPD - never owned
AXP - Hold and waiting lost a lot!
FWD - Got out in time
EHL - Got out in time
KMD - Out but lost
etc etc
I could not justify the CAT market cap relative to performance.
