good question. lets think about these patients. who are they (demographically), are their likely comorbidities that might impact their treatment regimen?
my best guess is many are older patients who may have other health issues. old people with VLU's might be likely candidates for other treatments/interventions that suspended/halted trial participation or may have necessitated hospitalisation, potentially making it harder for Clinical Researchers to access these patients?
