I'm looking at this even more simply I think. If I go ahead and assume that 1. the earnings power of CCV over the long term remains intact regardless of the CA outcome and, 2. that any potential payout can be covered by surplus cash, then CCV as a business is identical, fundamentally speaking, under either scenario.
So why wait until Mr. Market decides it's time for the lawsuitless CCV to trade more in line with it's peers?
