EUROPEAN LITHIUM at the Kick-Off implementation phase meeting of the "European Battery Alliance @250"

Brussels, 26/04/2018: EUROPEAN LITHIUM (represented by the DGWA GmbH) took part in the third high level meeting of theEuropean Battery Alliance (EBA) in Brussels yesterday.

The EBA is calling on the European industry to take advantage of the global market for batteries, which is expected to reach€250 billion annually by 2025; supporting members all along the supply chain, gathering key players round the table such asTesla, Volkswagen, Daimler, Ford, Renault, BMW, NorthVolt, BASF etc. as well as leading research institutes and commissionservices.

A key point on the agenda addresses the facilitation of the expansion/creation of European source of raw materials to ensuresupply within Europe.
