    Agree with you completely papwerwerks re the bakery division.

    I'm not sure about the new CEO. He's from capilano honey and I'm having difficulty assessing what his performance was like there. Did he leave of his own accord or was he pushed? Was he happy with Capilano's listing on the ASX, or did the heightened corporate focus clash with his mindset?

    I read this piece from his time at Capilano which leaves me feeling a little uncomfortable:

    ' ....CEO Roger Masters joined Capilano 12 years ago and was appointed CEO in 1996. "We're one of the few supplier owned honey producers in the world," explains Masters. "Although we are a public company listed on the Bendigo Stock Exchange, we are 90 percent owned by the apiarists who are our honey suppliers. It's like a cooperative...'

    The last thing we want is for Buderim to be run 'like a cooperative'.

    What I fear is that the board appointed Masters with exactly that in mind, ie. they wanted someone who will maintain the soft, comfortable, lazy status quo. Someone who won't make hard decisions.

    I hope my fears are unfounded.
